Privacy Policy and Additional Disclosures
Effective Date: July 9th, 2025
Welcome to dyaspora.ht (“we,” “our,” or “us”). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit our website, and clarifies our commitment to political neutrality.
Temporary Note on Data Collection Timing
This clarification will be removed or updated after the launch of the interactive platform.
At this time, we are only collecting information related to the Haitian diaspora census. This includes minimal personal information necessary for analysis and future communication. We are not yet collecting technical or navigation data (such as cookies or IP addresses)—this type of data collection will begin after the full interactive platform is launched.
References to navigation data and third-party analytics in this policy are included in preparation for that future version of the site.

3. How We Protect Your Information
We are committed to protecting your data. To minimize risk, we collect the strict minimum amount of information and never ask for sensitive personally identifiable information (PII). Industry-standard security measures are in place to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.
